About Dr. Nyrobi
Entertainment and Theatre Industry
Nyrobi was more than twenty years experience working in the entertainment industry. She is an original member of the triple-platinum gospel choir “GOD’S PROPERTY”, winners several 1998 Grammy, NAACP, Dove and Soul Train Music Awards. From 1995 to 2004, Nyrobi spearheaded her own company, Moss Management Services, offering event planning/coordination and management, artist development, and artist and event bookings. Since 2000 she has been a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy, Atlanta Chapter and currently she serves as a member of the Board of Directors for 7 Stages Theatre Company in Atlanta.
Her additional list of accomplishments includes the titles of author, director, production manager, stage manager, background vocalist, songwriter, actor and a multi-year Suzi Bass Award-winning costume designer. She is a noted motivational public speaker and spoken word artist that has been invited to serve as a host, presenter and keynote speaker at various universities, conferences and forums in the U.S. and abroad. Holding two degrees in Theatre from Georgia State University, by way of Miami University Ohio, Nyrobi has been labeled engaging, dynamic, and unforgettable.
Sexual Health Educator/Trainer/Public Health Consultant
Nyrobi has worked within the not-for-profit/public health sector for more than twenty years. Her background includes diversified experience in public and private sector environments, assuming the roles of CEO, COO, Director, Manager, Trainer, Advisor, Advocate, Consultant, Presenter, workshop facilitator and liaison.
In addition to degrees in Theatre, Nyrobi also specialized in Sociology/Human Sexuality at Georgia State University.
As a Sexual Health Educator, Nyrobi develops, prepares and disseminates educational training seminars on HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, health relationships, program development, implementation and agency sustainability. She is an international trainer periodically contracted to execute trainings of the trainers for evidence-based behavioral interventions both statewide and globally. Nyrobi is a master Trainer-of-the-Trainers (TOT) for more than 12 Evidence-based Behavioral Interventions and is the only TOT for the newest CDC-endorsed HIV prevention intervention Healthy Love, which Nyrobi co-developed with SisterLove, Inc. Co-authored with Nyrobi, members of the CDC, IFC Macro and SisterLove, "Lessons Learned From The Field Testing of Healthy Love" was published in Health Promotion Practice March 2017 (http://journals.sagepub.com/eprint/wf4sJdrtJningnBIWFwq/full).
Nyrobi facilitates individual and group sessions on women’s reproductive health, productive relationships, spiritual sexuality and deviant sexual cultures. Additionally, she holds contracts with local non-profit organizations to develop peer-advocate performance art pieces by extracting topics from youth abstinence, HIV education and violence prevention sessions. The journey of her work in HIV prevention is displayed in a 2008 released documentary entitled, “THE AIDS CHRONICLES: Here to Represent” (bbarash productions, LLC).

Nyrobi is an organizational development and strategic management consultant that provides technical assistance on Information Systems/Data Management, Staff Training/Development, Resource Development, Grant-writing, Linkages & Referrals, and Program Evaluation. She has 14+ years experience in grants and contract management, and increasing organizational sustainability.
In addition to being the Chief Consultant of Goddess Enterprises, LLC, Nyrobi also currently serves the Operations Manager, HIV Intervention & Prevention Program (H.I.P.P.) Manager and Sexual Health Educator at Making A Way Housing, Inc. in Atlanta, GA. Making A Way Housing, Inc. (MAWH) primarily provides emergency, transitional, and permanent supportive housing to Atlanta single adults facing complex challenges related to chronic homelessness, substance addiction, mental illness, and HIV/AIDS.
Organizational Development / Business Consultant
Ms. Moss earned her MBA from Beulah Heights University specializing in International Business and Corporate Finance and her Doctoral course work focused on the financial sustainability of human services nonprofit organizations.
Over the past five years she has raised a combined total of $3M in grant-writing and organizational fund-raising activities for several small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations. She has 7+ years experience writing, collaborating, managing and training for clinical research activities with the National Institutes of Health, HIV Prevention Trails Network and HIV Vaccine Trails Network. Nyrobi has developed community sero-incidence and prevalence tracking clinical trail protocol and trained research staff. Additionally, Nyrobi has 12+ years experience in managing senior, professional, and general level staff. She has monitored organizational and program budgets in excess of $7M and effectively reduced company spending without lapses in organizational productivity.
